#1 POWERISCAPE has been unbeatable at a regular mile this meet, including a dominant win the opening leg. #3 SMASHING-GUS’S-TOY beat the favorite two weeks ago. #2 HI SEA is ultra-consistent and fits well here.

#5 BERTOS BUDDY seems to be improving and the lightly-raced this season gelding has plenty of back class to draw on. #3 FIRST TIER should appreciate leaving the tough late closer.

Race 3

#8 THOMAS JOHN N takes a nice class drop and should be closing with alacrity. #3 SLALAH N has been competitive against tougher all meet. #4 FOX RIDGE SAL was a good second two weeks ago. His most recent race was too bad to be believed.

Race 4

#5 CHRIS LEE won his nw1 condition last week in a manner that suggests he can handle the step up and win right back. #2 SOUTHSIDE BEACH BUNNY already owns a win at this level. Another would hardly surprise. #1A PRINCESS LACE was right behind Southside Beach Bunny last time.

Race 5

#7 EVERE AND A DAY dominated easier but couldn’t quite handle tougher. This should be just right. #4 SS SENORITA just missed last week against a solid group. #5 ZEESKITE gets a substantial class drop tonight.

Race 6

#5 TWIN B SCAMPER has been agonizingly close in the first two legs. It’s hard to believe that she won’t win one of them. #9 WESTEDGE LANE failed at 1-2 last week but is obviously good enough on her best day. #4 RACE ME VALERIE has been impeccable thus far with two professional wins in the first two legs.

Race 7

#2 RISKYS WHIRLWIND finished beautifully last week and gets a crucial class drop tonight. #9 HALL SIGN has been unlucky still be winless on the meet after several strong performances. #8 RICK’S SIGN looked good winning last Saturday.

Race 8

#2 TOM BRUCE finished furiously to get second despite a slow pace last time. #1 NEWYORKJOYANTS was a good second to a streaking horse the last time he raced at this level. #8 BENGALI should be dangerous on the big class drop.

Race 9

#1 BUNAFIDE ARTIST can win with her normal race and may even improve with the addition of Lasix. #6 FOREVER ANNIE should be finishing well. #5 G’s MOLODY should improve with a cleaner trip today.

Race 10

#2 HIGH JACKED was a good third behind two very good horses last time and may be primed for a peak effort in his third start on the one-turn mile. #9 IN WAY TOO DEEP steps up but is on an absolute roll. #7 VALCYON DAYS fits nicely here.

Race 11

#4 BOAT KING should only improve in his second Colonial start. #5 RC’S BEACH BOY seems to be getting good right now. #6 MAKE A STAND has been competitive against tougher and may find this to be the right level.
