Race 2

#7 BROADWAY WOMAN should improve in her second start at Colonial and gets a nice class drop today. #1 SEVEN BENDS and #1A FUNOGLIO both fit well here.
Suggested bet: Pick-3 – 1,7 w/ 2,3,5,6 w/ 3,6

Race 3

#2 EVERE AND A DAY was very impressive winning in 1:52.3 last week. A repeat would result in a third straight trip to the winners circle. #3 SCOTTS GIRL should fit nicely at this level but may need a race at the one-turn mile. #5 SHARP ALMA is obviously sharp right now.

Race 4

#6 CORPORATE STRIKE keeps knocking at the door and this looks like a good spot for him to break through. #3 SHININ PEARL was terrific against cheaper last week. #4 SPINNING FOR GOLD would not be as big a surprise as she was last week.
Suggested bet: Pick-4 – 3,6 w/ 2,4,7 w/ 3,5,6 w/ 4

Race 5

#7 CINCY CHI LIZZIE ran out of gas last week in her first Colonial try but should have a better idea of the 1300-foot stretch’s demands with that experience. #4 MAN ON MARS N should love the class drop. #2 EL VONTE Q is dangerous on his best day.

Race 6

#3 BE BAD BILL looks to be back to his best, which is awfully good. #5 TATTLER’S JET fits beautifully at this level is and is overdue for his first 2008 Colonial win. #6 MATTONTHECHOOCH was an excellent second in a key race last weekend.
Suggested bet: Exacta box – 3,5,6

Race 7

#4 GH SHADY LADY has been a bit unlucky so far at Colonial but should really appreciate today’s class relief. #7 IT’S SUNDAY SUNDY should move forward in her second start of the season.

Race 8

#4 LOST IN THE SAUCE just won with a lifetime best in a very similar condition over the weekend. #6 JUST AMOS showed great improvement last week and should be primed for his best. #3 OTTAWA VALLEY should improve his 14 for 23 in the money record this season.

Race 9

#6 JACKSBROTHERJOE has tried setting the pace and closing from way back with the same agonizing result – a neck loss. Today’s the day. #8 FIDDLE ROSE should be dangerous again.

Race 10

#3 YOU WANNA DRAG can be forgiven for tiring so badly after setting a blazing pace last week. #5 PRINCESS LACE has been racing well against tougher.
Suggested bet: Exacta box - 3,5

Race 11

#10 MR BEAU WINDSWEPT will be very tough to beat if he can stay flat. #4 BANKERS LANE was a good third last week despite racing wide throughout the first three-quarters. #3 HANOVER just missed last week. #7 DOMINO JACK should really appreciate the drop.

Race 12

#10 COMMISSIONED N caught two straight unusually difficult fields so this is an even bigger class drop than it first appears. #5 RIDDLES BLISS also takes a crucial class drop. #4 PARADUSHO N was a good second at the level two weeks ago.
