Race 1

#10 RICK’S SIGN takes a big class drop and was certainly not embarrassed against some much tougher foes. #6 TM A NUKES finished well last week after tiring in his first two local starts so he may be ready for his best today. #8 SCOTTER J T almost got it done against similar last week.

Race 2

#4 ALL JOY disappointed with a break before the start last week but is clearly talented. #8 CAVIAR KISSES finishes awfully well. She raced too good to lose last week

Race 3

#5 SLIM JUSTICE lost in the final strides last week and faces many of the same rivals this week. #4 HADSTAB’S PKT ACES was a good third behind the favorite last week. #2 IDEAL JIN showed flashes in both of his two lifetime starts.

Race 4

#6 STORMONT VODKA couldn’t handle a very tough field last week but was a good second to a repeat winner before that. #4 ROMPAWAY WILLIE takes an important class drop tonight. Both #1 ALPHA and #1A DESCANT fit well here.

Race 5

#6 DREAMLANDS PONY was a good third in what looks like a key race last time. This should be a much easier spot. #5 HIGH CONCENTRATED takes a big class drop tonight and makes the crucial second Colonial start. #7 LOVE IS AMAZING has been awfully consistent all meet and should hit the board again tonight.

Race 6

#1 RACING NAKED set extremely fast fractions last week. He understandably tired and should be able to get away with softer splits here. #7 WINBAK DELIGHT beat a next-out winner easily in her last start. #5 MAX Q continued his bridesmaid meet last week but obviously fits well here.
Suggested bet: Exacta box – 1 w/ 2,5,7

Race 7

#6 EPES gets a nice class drop after racing fairly well in some very tough events. #8 JAMES LYON HALL was a very good third against really tough company last time. #3 MINNESOTA MARY is obviously very sharp right now.

Race 8

#5 HUGO N seems to be rounding into top form after an improved effort last week. #1 TOY POWER should improve in his second start at the one-turn mile. #8 ART THIEF figures to pick up another piece of the purse tonight.
Suggested bet: Pick-3 – 1,5 w/ 2,9 w/ 1,2

Race 9

#2 MACHU PICCHU had little chance last week as a trailer facing significantly tougher but was an excellent second in fast time at this level two weeks ago. #9 ODE TO EARL should appreciate the class drop. #7 AEROBIC LINDA fits well if she can stay flat.
Suggested bet: Exacta box – 2,7,9

Race 10

#2 ROMPAWAY ALVIN has been sensational all meet and gets a huge post position switch that should more than make up for the neck deficit last week. #1 ELECTRIC CHICKEN won the opening leg with another excellent performance but he definitely had a tactical advantage then.
Suggested bet: Daily Double – 1,2 w/ 3,4

Race 11

#3 WHOLEFTTHEGATEOPEN led until very late against much tougher last week. This is his easiest spot in a long time and he’s clearly at his best right now. #4 FOX RIDGE SAL finished awfully well last time. Both parts of the #1 entry fit nicely here.
