Race 1

#3 TIDEWATER MISTY has earned the most money of any of these and is admirably consistent with 6 in the money finishes from 8 starts. #4 HARPER LEE finished well ahead of Tidewater Misty the last time they met but has been off a month after a bad race. #5 SOUTHERN ELLA fits if she’s as good on the 1 ¼ mile track as she is on the half-milers.

Race 2

#1 ANGIOLINI has been facing tougher all meet with limited success but should find nw1 company to her liking. #4 SAM WUDDA has been right there in all her nw1 races this season. #2 PEEKABOO SAM regressed in her second lifetime start but showed plenty of talent in her debut.
Suggested bet: Pick-3 – 1,2,4 w/ 3,4 w/ 1,6

Race 3

#3 CLASHAY PANTS couldn’t quite hold on in her Colonial debut but should be stronger in her second crack at that 1300-foot stretch. #4 IRASCIBLE fits if she can return to the good form she showed two weeks ago. #1 MYSTIQUE JATE already has a couple of seconds at this level this meet.
Suggested bet: Exacta box – 6 w/ 4,5,7

Race 4

#6 LOOK LYNDSAY couldn’t quite handle the best female pacers on the grounds but should prove awfully tough here. #1 RACING NAKED is still below his usual class standards. #9 AL’S BEACH BOY is the type of deep closer that really appreciates Colonial.
Suggested bet: Pick-4 – 1,6w/ 3,9,10 w/ 2,6,7,8 w/ 4

Race 5

#10 ROMPAWAY YUM YUM plunges in class today. There’s some concern that she may just have lost her best form but the anything like what she showed early this meet would be plenty to annex this. #9 D’AMICO CUCINA easily handled relatively similar two weeks ago. #3 MI’S ARLENE will be involved right from the get go and may forget to stop.
Suggested bet: Exacta box – 3,9,10

Race 6

#2 RICK’S CROSSROADS has some solid finishes in New York sire stakes and should improve in his second Colonial start. #6 TAP FIVE has been right there all meet long. #7 TAKE THE LONG WAY fits if he can stay flat. #8 SLIM JUSTICE is always in the mix.
Suggested bet: Exacta box – 2 w/ 6,7,8

Race 7

#4 JIMMY KING fits very nicely at this level and is clearly in top form right now. #6 MISQUOTED probably needed his last race. #5 C M ARTHUR was a good third against similar two weeks ago and has had a better year than most of today’s rivals.
Suggested bet: Win – 4

Race 8

#6 SIR BEACH DRAGON has been facing the top pacers on the grounds all meet long. Today’s class drop should serve him well. #1 LADY DRAGON set a very fast pace before understandably tiring last week. #2 PEYOTE can make an impact with a repeat of that nice win two back.
Suggested bet: Exacta box – 1,2,6

Race 9

#1 BRILEY SHEA has several good races against tougher. This condition should be all she needs to break through for her first win of the meet. #1A LOVELY MAGIC also takes an important class drop today. #5 DREAMLANDS PONY disappointed last week but was a good third against tougher two back. #3 SCANDOLOUS is awfully consistent.
Suggested bet: Daily Double – 1,5 w/ 2,3

Race 10

#3 JOLLY JATE has two straight seconds against similar and this looks a bit easier than those two fields. #2 SS RUM RUNNER also comes off a nice second against similar. #10 OLYMPIC MAGIC is obviously sharp. A second straight win would be no surprise.
