#3 CAVIAR KISSES has two straight painfully narrow losses at this level. She’s due. #8 KATKIN faced tougher in Michigan. #1 CHIP AND RUN fits nicely on his Ohio form.

#5 VARITEK was a good second in his Colonial debut and still has plenty of upside in just his third lifetime start. #4 WINSMITH JEN keeps improving and clearly fits nicely here. #2 MISS YANKEE PRIDE couldn’t handle tougher last time but was a good second the last time she tried this level.

Race 4

#8 ASIAN EXPRESS closed stoutly to be a good fourth against tougher last time. The class drop should be all she needs to break through. #7 PARADUSHO N won at this condition just last week. #3 CAROLINA STORM takes a big class drop.

Race 5

#5 EVELYN’S FANTASY was awfully good opening week here. A repeat wins this. She has been off since then but has a history of firing her best shot fresh. #4 C J STRIKER drops down after a excellent third against tougher and may well improve in his second local start. #9 PAPER ART also drops after a series of solid races against tougher.

Race 6

#3 SCOTT’S SWEETY has several solid races against the best mares on the grounds. Today’s big class drop should be all she needs to see the winners circle. #5 YOU’RE WELCOME has also been facing tougher and has a nice history at Colonial. #6 ACTION BIG TOWNER will be finishing.

#8 BOBSUJAK dominated maidens last time. He’s raced well enough against significantly tougher to suggest he can handle the class rise today. #6 MISTER AMERICA was a good second at this level last week. #10 SCANDALOUS has a couple of thirds at this level already.

Race 8

#6 DESERT SUNRISE drops to the easiest spot he’s seen in a good while. #10 MIRACLE SAHBRA already has a win against tougher this meet. #1 CHIPPEWA WARRIOR certainly fits if he’s at his best off the long layoff.

Race 9

#10 CINCY CHI LIZZIE closed very well last week. #7 COUNTRY BOY CHARM should fit nicely here and may improve with Lasix added. #1 DIAMOND TOY was a solid fourth in a tough edition of this condition last week.

#10 CUM ON WINDSWEPT has had a rough year but oozes back class and showed some life in his qualifier win last weekend. #8 LIBOR fits if he can stay flat. #3 THUNDERCRACK is yet another with plenty of class and shaky recent form.

#8 RIDDLES BLISS chased a fast pace and understandably tired late last time. Now she drops down to a cozy spot. #4 THUNDER BUNZ was a good third against similar last time. #10 MAD LIBS fits nicely here.
