#4 FRANKIE’S PRIDE scored a smart win at this level Saturday. #1 GET AROUND BUSCH drops back to the nw1 level. #6 HIPO BEAT THE ODDS won’t be a maiden much longer.

Race 3

#8 CHRIS LEE plunges in class after several solid showings in a tough late closer series. #3 WINSMITH JEN showed promise in just her second start last week. #10 VARITEK was a solid fifth against tougher in his career debut and should be tougher today with the benefit of that experience.

Race 4

#7 TIDY ELLEN figures to be awfully tough here after racing competitively against significantly tougher competition all meet. #4 MI’S ARLENE will be in contention late. #6 JANE B is always right there at this level. #5 ARMBRO BLACKJACK fits well. #9 JUST AMOS needs a rebound.

Race 5

#7 TISZA HANOVER got buried late by an awfully tough group but she should fit well here and has a license to improve in her second local start. #3 SCOTTS GIRL just missed at this condition last week. #6 IT’S SUNDAY SUNDAY really finished well last week.

Race 6

#3 LADY DRAGON just finished 4 ¼ lengths behind some of the best pacers on the grounds so this massive class drop should set her up perfectly. #7 SOUTHWIND MAJESTIC caught ultra-tough fields his last two. #5 AL’S BEACH BOY should close for a piece.

Race 7

#10 CINCY CHI LIZZIE drops in class again and should be primed for a peak effort in her third start at Colonial. #7 IRISH ARTIST was a good third last week and may improve with Lasix added.

Race 8

#1 FANCY FLASH nearly won a tougher condition last week and should only improve in his third start off a long layoff. #2 IN WAY TOO DEEP has every chance to make it two straight at this level. #7 MIRACLE SAHBRA was good third after setting a fast pace last week.

Race 9

#7 KISMET did well in the ultra-tough Parker late closing series so she should certainly fit well here. #1 SHININ PEARL and #1A ARMBRO DOUG are both legitimate contenders. #6 NEWYORKJOYANTS keeps knocking on the door.

Race 10

#3 NIFTY NORMAN dominated two of the three early legs and is a strong enough finisher to indicate 1 ¼ miles is within his scope. #1 OH GEE WHIZ should like the added distance.

#7 BROADWAY WOMAN just missed in one of the best nw2 races of the meet last week. #2 KEYSTONE CALLIE and #2A FUNOGLO both fit well.

#9 PAYTON PLACE comes right back to the level she just won impressively at. #8 LOBRO SAMMIE caught unusually tough fields her last two. #3 FOREVER ANNIE should be finishing well once again.
