#3 NIFTY NORMAN failed as the favorite last time but he had a bad post and a bad pace scenario. Tonight should work out more like two weeks ago when he was dominant. #1A OH GEE WHIZ is fast and versatile. #4 STRAD HANOVER may just not like Colonial but he’s talented enough.

Race 2

#5 REALLY PERFECT takes a huge drop out of a solid late closer series. #6 GREAT GEORGE THREE was an excellent second to a very talented horse in his qualifier last week.
Suggested bet: Pick-3 – 5,6 w/ 3,4,6 w/ 8,10

Race 3

#3 FAREWELL SKY has plenty of speed and has shown a solid closing quarter despite coughing up two leads at Colonial. #9 BETTER HUSTLE finished ahead of Farewell Sky last time. #6 GOLDSTAR REAGAN should appreciate the drop from the Williamsburg series.

Race 4

#10 QUICK DECISION has been facing much tougher. He clearly has the talent to win at a good price if he can overcome the big track transition and rough post position. #8 SCOOT OUTA DODGE has been right there twice at this level already.
Suggested bet: Pick-4 – 8,10 w/ 4,7 w/ 3,6,9 w/ 4

Race 5

#7 CINCY CHI LIZZIE should appreciate the drop in class today and is a touch faster than her rivals if she can handle the transition to the one-turn mile. #4 YOU’RE WELCOME couldn’t handle the best mares on the grounds but should prove extremely tough at this level.

Race 6

#6 DIXIE PRIDE got caught with bad posts and/or wide trips his last three but obviously fits and should get a cleaner journey on the forgiving one-turn mile. #9 MR. GENIUS is a perfectly logical favorite off a good second against a tough rival last week. #3 YOKOZUNA BO is every bit as good as any in here but must adapt from half-mile ovals to Colonial’s immense oval.

Race 7

#4 IRISH ARTIST gets a massive class drop that should trigger his second win of the year tonight. #7 JACKSBROTHERJOE just missed at this level last week. #2 STRONG BELIEF was cooked in a duel against tougher last and should find the going easier tonight.

Race 8

#1A ALPHA fits nicely at this level and #1 DESCANT always has the chance to turn things around. #8 MR BEAU WINDSWEPT should improve in his second start off the layoff. #3 FEDEX ALERT has two straight solid thirds against similar.
Suggested bet: Pick-3 – 1,3,8 w/ 6 w/ 2,9,10

Race 9

#6 EVERE AND A DAY just won this very condition by four lengths last week. #5 PARADUSHO N couldn’t finish with Evere and a Day but was a solid second last week and has great history here. #2 MAD LIBS closed nicely into a slow pace last time.

Race 10

#9 LIBOR wins if he stays flat but its been a long time since he’s stayed flat in a race. #10 SHININ PEARL destroyed a similar field two back. #2 SEVEN BENDS disappointed in his first local race but is clearly good enough on his best day.
Suggested bet: Daily Double – 9,10 w/ 4,5

Race 11

#5 BE BAD BILL impressed with a big comeback win against cheaper. A repeat is enough to win this and his back class suggests even things may be in store tonight. #3 RISKYS WHIRLWIND is always in the mix and should appreciate the class drop he gets tonight.
