#6 PEACHES AND CREAM lost a stretch lead in her trip around the one-turn mile but should be stronger her second time and is clearly the most talented horse in here. #2 LEGACY FRANCO N gets a nice post position switch. #4 BRILEY SHEA deserves another chance as well.

Race 2

#8 COTTON BLOSSOM went faster in her qualifier than any her more experienced rivals have ever managed. #6 HIPO BEAT THE ODDS showed promise at Pocono and certainly has some upside.

Race 3

The #1 entry features four horses who all capable of winning this. #2 SONOFAFRICA was rock-solid in the first two legs. #4 TC’S BIG CAT DADDY finished well in both local trips and gets a driver with experience at this tricky distance in Corey Braden.

Race 4

#7 MYSTIQUE JATE has never been worse than second and there’s no reason today should be any different. #3 DARKEN STORMY has also been on the board in all six of his starts. #4 SOUTH SIDE BUNNY dueled through a crazy opening half last week.
Suggested bet: Exacta box – 7 w/ 1,3,4

Race 5

#2 COOPERS CREEK N showed signs of life with a nice win last week and should finally get a fast pace to set up his closing kick tonight. #5 POWERISCAPE has been dominant so far at Colonial. #1 OUR NEW JET finally gets a good post but will Sunday’s terrific effort take something out of him?

Race 6

#6 RILEY ROSE should offer more value today after suffering two straight defeats at 1-5 and should be closer to her best in the third start of the current cycle. #7 CAMPHOR HANOVER has enjoyed a terrific year and has the perfect style to excel at Colonial. #8 DRIVIN’ MISS RUDEE can be forgiven for tiring after making a move into a hot pace last time.

Race 7

#9 WILD RETREAT was a good second to a very hot horse last week and should only improve in his second start of the year. #5 POINT OF DESIRE showed nothing last week but is better than that and deserves another chance on the class drop. #10 ACCOPATOUGH is always in the mix.

Race 8

#4 CORPORATE STRIKE appears to be over his breaking problems and was terrific on Sunday, the only horse near a fast pace to hang on well. #1 MABLESIMAMAZED is 10 for 20 this year and obviously good enough if he handles the transition from fairs to the one-turn mile.
Suggested bet: Pick-3 – 1,4,8 w/ 1,4,5 w/ 3

Race 9

#4 TM A NUKES had a typical late fade in his first Colonial try. Hopefully he’ll have the typical second time improvement. #1 O O BEACH fits well on his Rockingham form. #5 MAC MR VP should find this level more to his liking and was a solid second two weeks ago.

Race 10

#3 BANKERS LANE seems to be rounding back into form after a good third against much tougher last week. #6 DOGGONE YANKEE takes a big class drop. #9 JUST AMOS tired pretty badly in his first start of year but should be fitter today and has the back class to win.
Suggested bet: Daily Double – 3,6 w/ 1,6

Race 11

#1 HEADLINE NEWS seems to have come back from a long layoff in solid shape and this is by far the easiest spot he’s seen in a long time. #6 ASIAN PARADISE N also gets a significant class drop today. #2 SS SENORITA should be closing late for a piece.
