#2 ANNUAL DUES takes a huge drop in class and appears to have a significant edge if he can just stay flat. #1A TACTICAL ADVANTAGE has been marooned in terrible posts his last two starts and has experienced success at this track before.

Race 2

#4 STONE CREEK was a good second despite a wide trip last time and is simply faster than any of today’s rivals. #5 FAREWELL SKY is a promising 2-year-old with plenty of upside.

Suggested bet: Pick-3 – 4 w/ 1,3,6 w/ 1,5,6

Race 3

#1A MARKTHEMAGICIAN and #1 PW RAINMAN both look like promising first-time starters after racing well against tougher in qualifiers here. #6 MR. BOB LEWIS looks like a logical favorite. #3 FIVE STAR RECRUIT can be tough with a repeat of his last race.

Race 4

#5 LUDE N CRUDE seems a tick faster than today’s rivals and has the explosive last quarter that wins so many Colonial races. #1 SPARKLES DREAMBOAT fits very nicely if he can avoid his breaking tendencies. #6 ADAM CARTWRIGHT is hit or miss but has enough talent to win.

Suggested bet: Win - 5

Race 5

#2 DESERT SUNRISE is in very good form right now and should have trouble with the venue change. #1 DESCANT is the real wildcard in the race. He showed a ton of talent as a 2yo but has been terrible this season. #1A HANOVER COUNTY has also been poor recently but can certainly win on his best day. #8 MI’S ARLENE tends to fire her best shot at Colonial.

Race 6

#7 ETHICAL HANOVER is fast, likes the track and finds a cozy condition today. #5 WHOLEFTTHEGATEOPEN is good enough if he’s fit off a three-month layoff. #4 MATTONTHECHOOCH is overdue for a win after three straight lost photos.

Suggested bet: Win – 7

Race 7

#3 LEGENDARY LOUIE has been solid all season long and should appreciate the mild class drop today. #2 TELL HILLARY wins if she can get back to her 2007 form but this year hasn’t gone nearly as well. #6 SS REGAL RAIDER can easily hit the board at a good price.

Race 8

#5 EVELYN’S FANTASY has had the best year of the three talented but inconsistent main contenders here. #2 FIRM FATALE is plenty fast at times. Is this one of those times? #6 ONE MORE HUG was very good last year and the return to the one-turn mile may be the spark she needs.

Race 9

#5 VICKIES DREAMBOAT fits this series very well and figures to benefit from a solid pace today. #6 RICK’S SIGN is the type of lightly-raced, improving horse that can take a step forward and do very well in this series. #7 GABBY’S LOVE is hard to ignore off four straight wins.

Suggested bet: Exacta box – 5 w/ 3,6,7

Race 10

#4 RACING NAKED has been awfully good for an awfully long time at Colonial. He’s been off since March but is hard to every pick against. #5 SIR BEACH DRAGON is a very logical favorite with no flaws. #6 MARATHON HALL is fast enough and in good form.

Race 11

#1 TRANQUILITY gets a great class drop, good post and top driver. #2 ADDISON fits very well at this level and showed an affinity for Colonial last season. #3 RING OF HONOR N has been killed by bad posts recently.
