Race 1

#3 KATKIN was an excellent third against similar two weeks ago. A repeat takes this but he’s got plenty of breaking issues. #2 PEEKABOO SAM has several solid races in his nascent career. He won’t be a maiden long. #7 ELVIS IS BACK has several races that can hit the board here.

Race 2

#8 GABBY’S LOVE just beat slightly tougher on Sunday. She’ll be awfully tough if she can come back on short rest. #4 MOONLITEBILLANDBOB also has a win at this level this week.
Suggested bet: Pick-3 – 4,8 w/ 2,5,6 w/ 1,8

Race 3

#6 HERO’S CAVALCADE won the last time he raced at this level and comes a win against even tougher earlier this week. #5 BJ’S TSUNAMI also drops in class after a quick win. #2 HI IM JOHNNY KASH is another with a win the last time he faced similar.
Suggested bet: Exacta box – 2,5,6

Race 4

#1 CASHMERE freaked Sunday with the best race of her career leading to a 6 ½ length win at this very level. #8 IMPRESSIVE JILL is very good when she stays flat. #5 L D SPUR wins with his best but he hasn’t been seen since May.
Suggested bet: Pick-4 – 1,8 w/ 6,8,9 w/ 1 w/ 1,3,8

Race 5

#8 IMAWHINER was a good second against similar last week and is admirably consistent. #6 LOVE IS AMAZING has been solid all meet long. #9 THISOLDARTOFMINE can make an impact on his best day.

Race 6

#1 ROYAL PHOTO and #1A DUSTY WINNER both have wins against similar in recent weeks. #6 ODE TO EARL steps up off two straight impressive wins. #7 TACTICAL ADVANTAGE hasn’t broken through at this level yet but is a five-time winner on the meet. #2 RALLY BY THE RIVER is certainly capable on her best day.

Race 7

#3 WESTERN BAY should improve in his second local start. #8 CAMPHOR HANOVER has been very solid against some of the best competition on the grounds all meet long. #1 RACING NAKED seems to be back to his formidable best and #1A DRIVIN’ MISS RUDEE must be respected too.
Suggested bet: Exacta box – 5 w/ 2,3

Race 8

#4 HIGH JACKED gets his easiest start of the meet. He gave up a lot of ground at the start last week and was probably best. #8 TOM BRUCE always tries hard and clearly fits well here. #7 CHIP OF NORDIC finished ahead of Tom Bruce in a blanket finish last week.
Suggested bet: Pick-3 – 4,7,8 w/ 5,8 w/ 1,2


Race 9

#5 JOLLY JATE went on a break last week but before that was an impressive winner in 1:52.3, which would certainly take this. #8 CHARLOTTES BOREAS is the only other entrant with a demonstrated recent ability to win in less than 1:54.

Race 10

#1 SMASHING-GUS’S-TOY was an easy winner in this series’ lone 1 ¼ mile race. #2 POWERISCAPE proved his was best at a mile but was beaten 2 ½ lengths in the 10 furlong race. #3 COOPERS CREEK N finished second to the favorite in his only appearance in the series.

Race 11

#8 LADY OF THE DRAGON gets her easiest assignment of the meet. #3 THUNDER BUNZ was a good second Sunday despite getting caught well off a slow pace. #6 CAROLINA STORM can make an impact with her best.
