Race 1

#4 PRO NORTH is a deserving favorite here as the newly minted Horse of the Meet goes for his richest score of the season. #3 POLO JOHNNY got back on track last week and looms the main threat. #2 SAMCIN has eight straight exacta finishes, so he should at least crack the tri today.

Race 2

#6 ALL JOY is overdue for her first win after several in the money finishes this meet. #8 PEEKABOO SAM has been right there. #2 RIGHT OUT can move forward off a nice debut.
Suggested bet: Pick-3 – 2,6,8 w/ 2,7 w/ 1,4,9

Race 3

#2 WINSMITH JEN raced well in some of the tougher nw1 races of the meet and should still have plenty of upside in her fifth lifetime start. #7 CRIMSON DRAGON got second the last time he raced at this condition. #6 IRASCIBLE is always in the mix.

Race 4

#1 JAMI THE GREAT hasn’t been worse than second since August, including two straight nice races at this level. #9 CASHMERE was just half-length worse than Jami the Great against their common opponent. #4 CAVIAR KISSES dominated nw1 company.
Suggested bet: Pick-4 – 1,4,9 w/ 1,7 w/ 3,6,7,8 w/ 5

Race 5

#7 DIVINE HUSBAND won in 1:55.3 the last time Chris Page drove. #1 CHIPPEWA WARRIOR and #1A FANCY FLASHY are both strong contenders. #2 CHIP OF NORDIC has two straight strong seconds at this level.
Suggested bet: Exacta box – 1,2,7

Race 6

#7 SIERRA’S DREAM makes the crucial third start off a long layoff and third at Colonial. A return to his best form would take this contentious race. #3 CARLY’S CROWN does step up in class today but has more than enough back class to suggest it should be problem. #8 AU BON HALL is fast and consistent but did miss the last two weeks. Both parts of the #1 entry fit nicely here.

Race 7

#5 JOINT CRUSADE is remarkably consistent and is clearly good enough to win at this level. #7 GABBY’S LOVE was a good second in a very fast race last week. #4 RT CRUISER hasn’t threatened to win this meet but is always somewhere in the mix.
Suggested bet: Exacta box – 5 w/ 4,7,9

Race 8

#8 YOBRO TYSON just missed against similar Wednesday. #5 WINTERS CALL GIRL has been wide on the turn in each of her last three starts. #1 SKY BLUES COMMANDO took a step forward with a solid third last week.
Suggested bet: Pick-3 – 1,5,8 w/ 2,3,4 w/ 1

Race 9

#3 HI IM JOHNNY KASH caught an incredibly tough field last time. He obviously likes the track and is in career-best form. #4 YOKOZUNA BO gets his easiest condition of the meet. #2 TUG RIVER CLAUDE has been racing fairly well against tougher.
Suggested bet: Exacta box – 3 w/ 2,4,7

Race 10

#1 ROMPAWAY ALVIN has clearly proven himself the best horse in the series. The only question is the distance. #4 MABLESIMAMAZED has two straight seconds behind the favorite. #5 IMPRESSIVE JILL is dangerous when she stays flat.
Suggested bet: Daily Double – 1,4 w/ 2,10

Race 11

#10 LOVELY MAGIC should be finishing fastest of all in the stretch. #2 HP’S NIRVANA got buried in a tough field last time was impressive against similar in her two previous starts. #4 PAYTON PLACE clearly fits well at this level.
