#3 OSCEOLA CAT DANCER ran huge off the long layoff. Comes right back and looks to wire this field. #1 SEVEN TWO OFFSUIT makes his third start of the meet and should sit an inside stalking trip before trying to reel in the top pick. #4 TURNING UP drops off decent debut. Added ground should not hurt.

Race 3

#8 MYSTIC BAY encountered all sorts of trouble in last before finishing well to gain the show. Look for her to get a clear trip from the outside today and roll to the win. #3 WAMBAM disappointed as the heavy favorite and looks to make amends with the switch to the turf. Her speed should take her far in here.

Race 4

#1 PARK VIEW faced much better at Del Mar last year and should appreciate this company. #1A RECTOR’S LADY makes her debut on a surface she is bred to love. #7 WHERE’S MY NURSE ran second to a repeat winner when making her first start.

Race 5

#7 DELECTABLE CAT just failed after battling through a duel in her first start. Will battle again and be right there at the finish. #1 SO VAIN is out of a very nice mare and trainer bats 31% with first timers. #3 GLAMOROUS GAL ran very well behind top pick. Addition of Lasix won’t hurt.

Race 6

#4 CLARA’S SONG almost defeated the boys in her turf debut two starts back. Will come rallying to against her own type today. #1 REGINA MADRE gets the inside and should be a pace factor throughout. Karamanos kills the price though. #5 RACING BRIDGETT needed her last and will look to make a late run against these.

Race 7

#4 SWAYIN loves Colonial. Has enough speed to lay close before making presence felt in the final furlong. #7 SLEW PET threw in a clunker when stretched out. Comes back to a better distance and will attempt to stalk before rallying into the fray. #10 ABSQUATULATE gets a rider change and better post. Can circle and make a run to threaten

Race 8

#5 COUNT ON LOU will go off as lowest price of the meet so far. He should go right to the front and increase his lead from there. Derby Bill could ride this winner. #6 TWO OURS looks like he’s second best in here.

Race 9

#3 FINISHLION is well-named. Will get to the real finish line first in here with a wire to wire effort. #2 KNIFE HUNTER forces the issue from the inside and should hold well in the lane. #4 CHARLES THE FIRST flattened out in latest but the mile distance will make his run more of a factor.
